Lilychan reports Sailor Moon related panels in the works for Otakon.


Tokyopop looking into Sailor Moon Manga License. Everyone's still deducing what is going on, but the word out of Otakon is that Tokyopop is looking into it.


Lily-chan reports that there will be a Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Fan Panel and Naoko Takeuchi Fan Panel at Matsuricon. The con's website is here!

PGSM Panel was held this past weekend at Otakon. There are also rumors of bigger news. More updates to come!

Animeondvd.com is reporting that at Anime Central 2007, Geneon officials expressed interest in Sailor Moon but those officials also pointed out Toei still has the license on lockdown.

Moonkitty.net has a large large large Sailor Moon News Feed. Be sure to check it out!

The Cape Cod Times mentioned Sailor Moon in the context of anime and a greater interest in Japanese culture upon the arrival of Red Sox pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka.

Animation Insider mentioned Sailor Moon in an article on the popularity of Anime online.

Genvid mentioned on their front page that ANN is reporting that Toei has set up a licensing division within the U.S.

A quick look at the Cosplay.com and convention forums shows that there will be a Sailor Moon presence at A-Kon, Anime Expo, Otakon, and Anime Weekend Atlanta, Metrocon, Anime USA, CNAnime, Chibicon, Sac Anime & Comic Show, Ai-Kon, Mechacon, AtsuiCon, Amecon, Ikasucon, Anime Evolution, Anime Festival Wichita and Anime Fest. Past conventions including Anime Boston, Anime North, Anime Central, Katsucon, Ohayocon, Anime Detour also featured several Sailor Moon cosplayers.

Sailor Moon panel held at Anime Boston draws good turnout. Visitors treated to footage of the dubtitle project, and some Seramyu. There was also a great deal of cosplayers at the convention including some aligned with FMA's Roy Mustang.
